Naked DSL Internet

Until now, to get high-speed ADSL broadband you needed to pay a phone company for line rental, even if you did not use your fixed wire phone for any telephone calls. Naked DSL provides you with your standard business or residential grade ADSL/ADSL2+ service but without any telephone line rental.

Naked DSL comes into your home the same way broadband does, so there is no need for new connections or hardware. You even plug your modem into the same phone socket on the wall. Once naked DSL is provisioned, you will not be able to utilize your fixed wire telephone service for any telephone calls and will not have any dial tone. Yet, the fixed wire copper will be utilized to provide you with the ADSL2+ service.

Please note - If you rely on your fixed wire telephone service for services such as a monitored alarm, combined phone and fax machine, EFTPOS or Pay TV – then Naked DSL will not be suitable for you. These services use your fixed wire telephone service to communicate and therefore won’t work on Naked DSL.
